Military Officers Education Requirements

If you have the desire to become a military officer, you will need to have a high school diploma. You must have passed English and three other courses. If you do not posses these requirements, you may be able to take what is called the Alternative Equivalency Assessment test. This test is to assess your level of education for employment in the military. You must be 21 years of age and be able to prove that you have experience in work of life that relates to the employment. If you have police work background, this is helpful for applying in the Corps.

Criminologist Educational Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in sociology or psychology is required to become a criminologist. Courses that will be needed will be in statistics, computer science, English, and writing. The work that a criminologist does will mean a lot of research and writing about that research. Getting a master’s degree in sociology or psychology will help you to earn more money in the field of criminology. The work may begin as office duty but will eventually lead into all the good stuff like autopsies and crime scene investigations. CPA Educational Requirements

If you want to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree that focuses on accounting. Courses that may be required in your state include taxation, auditing, financial accounting, and management accounting.

The future CPA will also need to take courses in business like economics, business law, business ethics, marketing, management, and finance. The CPA student must be of upstanding moral character and be able to pass the state exam to be certified. In some states, certain auditing and financial jobs are only allowed to done by a CPA.

Forensic Science Educational Requirements

If yoiu want to study forensic science, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent coursework in sciences such as biology, chemistry, criminology, or physics. At the bachelor’s degree level, you must study chemistry as one of your major subjects and focus ideally on studies about microscopy and statistics.

Many sub-categories are there in forensic science; you can choose one of the courses available based on the personal position and preferences of the individuals. Individuals intending to study this course must  familiarize themselves with forensic science literature. Undergoing the General Knowledge Examination conducted by the American Board of Criminalistics is an added advantage both for the course and the carrier; however, one can still take this examination after her/she completes the forensic science degree.

Engineering Psychology Educational Requirements

Engineering psychology is available at different levels of graduation such as bachelor’s degree (BS or BA), master’s degree (MS or MA), or doctoral degree (EdD, PhD, or PsyD). Generally, to practice as a psychologist in the United States, one must have doctoral degree. However, in some states in United States, a master’s degree holder is eligible to practice as a psychologist. A bachelor’s degree program in psychology takes about four years. You must have passed high school of course, to qualify.

You can obtain a master’s degree in psychology, which usually takes 2 to 3 years. A doctoral degree in psychology might just be well worth it for a more profitable career.

Digital Graphics and Animations Educational Requirements

Degree, diploma, and certificate courses are available for digital graphics and animation. The digital graphics and animation program offers you the opportunity to develop your  skills and to increase professional competence in various applications such as 3D animation, illustration, image manipulation, and screen design.

Basic educational requirement for digital graphics and animation course is B.C. grade 12 or the equivalent. Generally, many centers expect about thirty credits in fine arts, which include about three credits in college-level English, or similar experience in fine arts or in graphic design. Art portfolio of previous art/design works and a statement of intention will increase your opportunity.

Chemical Engineering Educational Requirements

A degree in chemical engineering is essential for you if you intend to become a chemical engineer, as a chemical engineer, you are sure to be profitably hired by either the public or private sector. To obtain a bachelor’s degree (4 to 5 years) in chemical engineering, you must have studied chemistry, physics, and mathematics in high-school level.

A master’s degree in chemical engineering will be necessary if you intend to move up the career ladder in the near future. A master’s degree involves more laboratory works. On successful completion of a master’s degree, one can go for a Ph.D. course, which might take up to 4 years.

Volcanologist Educational Requirements

A volcanologist is a category that comes under geoscientists. For becoming a volcanologist, people must have at least a mater’s degree in earth science (geology), in particular, volcanology. However, a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in volcanology is preferred for the positions that involve high-level researches or teaching in colleges.

Utilization Review Technician Educational Requirements

Generally, the work of a utilization review technician involves coordination of pharmaceutical services. The basic educational requirement for the post of utilization review technician is a high-school graduation or equivalent course and two years work experience in any hospital or retail pharmacy.

One does not require any supervisory or leadership skill to avail this post. In addition to the educational requirements, for becoming a utilization review technician, one should have knowledge of pharmaceuticals. The additional requirements are knowledge of city criminal law, ordinances, policy, and statutes. Knowledge of computer applications and great communication skill (both oral and written) are desired requirements.

Medical Geneticist Education Requirements

The work of medical geneticists involves studying how genes work to create cells and organisms; they also study how hereditary attributes and mutations pass through generations. To become a medical geneticist, you must have a degree in genetics or related subjects such as biological sciences or biochemistry.Then you will also have to complete a master’s degree or a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in genetics.

On the other hand, going for a medical degree and then undergoing a specialty-training program in medical genetics will also make one equipped for a successful career in medical genetics. In addition to the educational requirements, one must have strong interest in biology, mathematics, and problem solving skills to excel as a medical geneticist.
